Device Warranty- Any device sold by YCD INC is covered by a 1 Year Limited Warranty. Warranty covers manufacturer defect only and does not cover accidental damage or customer misuse. If the device is still covered by a manufacturer warranty, YCD reserves the right to contact the manufacturer for replacement, otherwise YCD will either repair your device, or offer replacement of the same or similar device depending on availability. Computers built by, or sold by YCD, include a 90 days parts, 1 year labor warranty.
Repair Warranty- All phone and tablet screen repairs are covered by our Lifetime Guarantee. Our lifetime guarantee covers manufacturer defect only, and does not cover physical damage. Computer repairs include a 90 day parts, 1 year labor warranty. Any other repairs are covered by a 1 year warranty*. Any repair warranty covers the parts replaced by YCD Only and is limited to manufacturer defect. Repair warranties do not cover physical damage or customer misuse. Any defective parts covered by YCD INC may be replaced with the same or similar part or refunded when a replacement is not possible. Should anyone other than YCD INC work on your device the warranty may be voided.
*YCD INC may offer used parts at a greater discount to our customers. These parts will be offered as an alternative to new parts and you the customer will be made aware of what parts are considered used. Shall a used part be selected please be advised that they are sold as is and will not be covered by our warranty. Additionally, wear and tear parts, such as batteries and hdd drives, are covered by a 90 day warranty only. Repairs- By having YCD INC service your device you imply that you are the legal owner or have the permission of the legal owner to do so.
YCD is not responsible for loss of profit, data loss, or any direct, indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damage occurring during or after device service. This is in addition to, and does not affect your statutory rights. If hidden problems are discovered while repairing your device, YCD will contact you through the methods you provided to discuss the new repair price before we continue our repair work. Any form of yes is considered permission to move forward. It is recommended that all customers back up any important data before handing in their unit for repair.All Jobs must be collected within 30 days of completion, unless prior arrangement has been made.
Jobs that are not collected in this period may be deemed as “Uncollected Goods” (Uncollected Goods Act 1995), and/or may incur a storage fee. Uncollected Goods may be sold/disposed of after the required time has elapsed. Return Policy- All returns must have a valid receipt, be unused, and in original packaging. All non-electronic purchases may be returned within 30 days from the date of purchase. Electronics may be returned within 14 days from the date of purchase or we cannot accept them under any circumstances.
Some electronics and all special ordered items are subject to a 35% restocking fee. The following items are not returnable: Software, Printers, Scanners, Ink, and Toner, any services (ie. Prepaid service, antivirus, internet service, ect.)
